National Nuclear Security Administration KCRIMS Relocation (Honeywell)
P1 was the prime contractor to relocate more than 2,000 pieces of large production/ manufacturing equipment from the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Kansas City Plant (KCP) complex to the new Botts Road facility in Kansas City, Mo. The project highlights P1’s single-source capabilities, as ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ is self-performing the millwrights, piping, plumbing, electrical and sheet metal work.
The plant is operated by Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies L.L.C (FM&T). This relocation project was part of a larger program known as Kansas City Responsive Infrastructure, Manufacturing and Sourcing, or KCRIMS, that transformed the KCP facility and organization into a more efficient and flexible manufacturing center for future National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) needs
