St. Jude's "Wins" P1 Charity Bracket Challenge
LENEXA, Kan. – Trey Jones, a former Ƶ field associate who now works for BNSF Railway, is the winner of the 2016 P1 Charity Bracket Challenge. He will split the proceeds with the charity of his choice, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
To celebrate March Madness and help our community, each year P1 associates, family and friends are invited to fill out an NCAA Tournament bracket for ten dollars. The winner of the bracket challenge receives half of the proceeds while the other half, matched by Ƶ, is donated to a charity of the winner’s choice.
St. Jude’s will receive an $800 donation.
“I have been playing this bracket challenge for almost 12 years and haven’t come close in years past,” Jones said. “It’s a great way to give a donation to charity. I admire the way P1 has set this up and excited that money will go to a charitable cause.”
The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. No child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.
Trey, congratulations to you and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
